...... for our honeymoon, FINALLY. We took the past month since the wedding to let things settle down and get things arranged - but we finally leave for Tahoe on October 2nd. I know this short week is gonna take FOREVER!! But we'll be there until Monday morning and then we're cruising over to San Fran and a little wine country expedition. So looking forward to it!!
This past weekend was great. We spent some time getting things ready for the trip - including a little shopping for some gear. Steph bought some much needed outdoor gear and I bought some much needed "get-ups" for dinners and such. We also hit the race in Fort Clinch to cheer on the crew who was racing. We also decided to get our workouts in while there. My bro-n-law Jacob came with us - poor dude only had like 4hours sleep!! - but he busted out some miles with me and steph. It was a fun little trip including the short little ferry ride, which Jacob had never been on. Gotta get that dude out more!!
I think Jacob jumped like three feet when they blew the horn!!
